My client is one of the world's leading insurers and reinsurers operating around the world and has a leading presence in all of the key insurance markets. The company adopts a healthy appetite for risk and in partnership with brokers seeks to find solutions to underwrite the most challenging of risks.

The Manchester office now requires a leading Motor Trade Underwriter to lead and develop the product within the North West Market and become a market leader in this field.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years underwriting experience in commercial Motor Trade Insurance, know key contacts within the market, have superb technical underwriting skills and the ability to negotiate and trade with key brokers. You will be a leading figure in the market and want to make a move that will allow you an empowered and dynamic working environment for you to succeed in.You will be professional, driven and smart in appearance with the confidence to deal face to face with key brokers.

This role will see you develop the product to market and assemble an underwriting team to support you. A business target plan will be required to identify how to successfully attack the Motor Trade market with the full financial support and expertise of my client to ensure this is achieved.
