A claims technician handles the claim throughout its lifespan and liaises with all parties concerned, which can include the third party insurers / loss adjusters / claims investigators / solicitors etc. A claims technician deals with the relevant documentation, ensures that the process runs smoothly, that the insurance company / solicitor settles in the correct manner, and that the client receives compensation as quickly as possible.
