This is a key role within an International Insurance company to ensure the development and management of profitable commercial business with Key Provincial Brokers in the North West.

Key Duties:
Achievement of key targets in the aquisition, management and retention of quality Commercial Lines business, ensuring the book is profitable.
Management of regional new business processes
Development and management of key account relationships
Management and motivation of New Business Underwriters and Key Account Managers, including mentoring, support and training
Provide an effective input and participation within the Regional Management Team
Analyse and deliver business plans, deliver company protocals and objectives
Find Opportunities within the market to develop business and expand cross selling opportunities
Work alongside other departments and branches

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of business development within an Insurance background, have excellent people management skills, have an effective presence in the market, proven management and negotiation skills and sales management experience.

You will be commercially aware of the North West Insurance market, have the ability to drive business in the direction of the company directives and goals.

You will have the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve results and provide a key service to brokers and clients.

You will embrace change and be able to challenge others in a positive manner in tough situations and look to inspire and improve problems to an effective outcome.

ACII qualification is preferred, but not essential as you will be required to complete this within an agreed timescale.
