An opportunity has arisen for a Motor Personal Injury Liability Claims Handler. Experience in handling all types of Motor Personal Injury Liability Claims is preferred. Consideration will also be given to applicants who do not have personal injury claims handling skills but do have experience in handing all aspects of Motor Liability Claims on third party vehicles/property damage claims.
Job Specification
Handling Motor Personal Liability Injury Claims.
Providing a high quality claims handling service.
Negotiating with Claimants and their Solicitors.
Identifying cases which may be suitable for fraud and rehabilitation programmes.
Maintaining effective relationships with policyholders and their representatives; colleagues; panel solicitors; other insurers; claimants and their representatives.
Ensuring that personal workflow and standards are maintained in accordance with laid down procedures.

Excellent judgement, decision making, analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent organisational and motivational skills.
A strong team working ethic.
The ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining the right balance between work quality and work output.
Previous experience in handling motor claims including third party liability claims.
