Account Handler / Trainee Energy Claims Adjuster
Job Reference: SH2758
Location: Greater London
Salary: £30000 to £35000 £30000 - £35000 per annum + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a specialist and niche claims organisation looking to fill a newly created role of an Account Handler / Trainee Adjuster. The position will initially entail chasing payment for services rendered from Insurers and Reinsurers throughout the world; working out placement ratios and apportioning costs accordingly. Following on from this, and once a system has been set in place to carry out this process, the company would look to support and develop the candidate in a Trainee Adjuster role, learning to deal with oil & gas/energy losses. The successful candidate will ideally come from a Claims Broker role in the energy insurance field, preferably with a second language and possessing an insurance qualification such as ACII etc. This is an unusual opportunity to enter a niche and prestigious area of the insurance / claims market with a leading organisation in this field.

It is clear that they take time to find candidates that suit our business and that they have an honest approach when discussing any potential new recruit. I am sure that this is a reflection of their pre-screening processes where they can accurately assess a candidate’s strengths and weaknesses ensuring we do not waste time in the recruitment process, not something I can say of all agencies!
