Our client, a highly respected insurance organisation, is seeking to recruit a talented claims handler for their Leeds office, to handle a portfolio of subsidence losses. This role will entail liaising with Engineers, Surveyors, Loss Adjusters, Policyholders and other parties in order to reach an equitable settlement to the claim. The successful candidate will assist in the creation of reports, the appointment of necessary professionals and help with the ongoing project management of the loss. Prior claims handling experience is essential, preferably in subsidence losses, and full. Professional qualifications, such as ACII or HNC in Buildings Studies, would be a benefit although full support will be available for progression towards a relevant award.
