A new vacancy has arisen for a Motor Claims Team Leader to join a major international composite insurance company within the Manchester office. Within the Claims handling unit will be accountable for the efficient running of a claims team. You will monitor, direct, develop and manage the performance of the team together with identifying training needs and ensuring the provision of training. You will implement performance appraisals and personal development plans. You will liaise both internally and externally with underwriters, brokers and suppliers. You will also be responsible for managing customer complaints.

Applicants applying for this vacancy must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of all aspects of motor claims. You will have a proven track record of being a team player and the ability to coach is also essential. Motor claims or operational experience in a senior claims role is preferred.
Achievement of or progress towards CII is preferred.
