Our client, a insurance related buildings claims organisation is seeking a Buildings Surveyor to assist on a fixed term contract basis with regards to perils and some subsidence losses in Scotland. The majority of work is EoW / burst pipe claims related to the recent bad weather and this surge in work has led to a requirement for a Surveyor. The ideal candidate would have a relevant building / surveying qualification eg MCIOB/MRCIS and have a background in carrying out insurance related works including the initial assessment, scheduling using an agreed schedule of rates, implementation of CDM & H&S regs as well as reporting to insurers. Full office support will be given and there is the possibility that the role may become permanent, dependent on performance and instruction levels. Applicants should be immediately available.
