Our client is seeking a Household Claims Manager to work out of either their Manchester or Glasgow office, managing circa 60 Household Claims Handlers (including 5 Team Leaders) working out of both Manchester and Glagow, dealing with a caseload of buildings, contents and personal possessions claims. Aside from your managerial duties, you will be required to handle a small caseload of the larger & more complex claims. You will report into the Divisional Manager and be typically responsible for service delivery, allocation of losses, technical output / quality assurance, staff appraisals, training & development etc. We are ideally looking for either an experienced Claims Team Leader or a Claims Technician with good experience of handling domestic claims; someone that enjoys management & who would relish the task of being responsible for a team of claims handlers.
