The Role
Dealing with the new claims coming in on the telephone and inputting the same directly into the computer system whilst obtaining the relevant information from the caller to enable the claim to be set up in accordance with the business source requirements.
Inputting new claims into the computer system that have come in via the post fax or e-mail and scanning/attaching the paperwork into the relevant claim.
Assessing liability and informing the file handler a new claim has been raised against their Fleet and confirming to them the details of the claim. Creating the Incident Report Form and acknowledging receipt of the new claim.
Arranging repairs of the vehicle and inputting data into the computer system in accordance with the fraudulent checks required and assessing whether a third party capture is necessary and arranging the repairs to the third party vehicle if required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Input new claims in accordance with source requirements and the Company’s quality system
Input data into the relevant PC system
Make telephone calls to clients/insurers and business sources
Assist team members
Attend training
Comply with company policies and procedures
Develop knowledge of Fleet Legal systems and procedures
Such other tasks as reasonably requested by the management
