Salary: £25000 to £35000 £25000 - £35000 per annum + PRP, Contrib. Pension / 25 Holidays

One of the UK’s leading and most prestigious insurance companies in Manchester is looking to appoint a Technical Claims Handler within its Personal Injury claims unit. The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing the most complex / large loss cases coming into the region. You will decide on legal and policy liability issues, handling claims from intimation through to settlement. You will also be the technical referral point for the department, liaising with the Head Office on complex cases when appropriate. You will also facilitate technical training, coaching, mentoring and auditing. You will have a proven background in the personal injury claims arena, including a working knowledge of serious and fatality claims coupled with an excellent understanding of the Road Traffic act / legal protocols and procedures.
