My client is an international specialist insurer and a market leader in their chosen areas of business which includes insuring some of the most challenging and complicated insurance needs.

Following continued growth and the need for expansion, my client is now looking to recruit a High Net Worth Development Underwriter to join its team in Manchester.

The main focus of the role will be to finding, developing and growing new business opportunities within the North West with Key Brokers as well as cross sell other classes of insurance to build the business.

Key Responsibilities:
• To underwrite consistently and profitably
• To develop close, effective relationships with brokers
• To effectively negotiate with both internal and external parties including identified points of contact with a brokerage
• To maintain and develop internal and external customer relations
• To regularly visit broker partners and write their business

The successful candidate will have an indepth knowledge of HNW business and have a proven track record as an underwriter. You will have at least 2 years experience trading externally with brokers and underwriting and identifying profitable risks onsite. You will display excellent negotiation and communication skills and demonstrate customer focus for successful outcomes.
