Salary: £26000 to £33000 £26000 - £33000 per annum + full benefits package

My client is an award winning commercial brokerage based just outside Manchester city centre and near the M60 ring road. They are a modern and forward thinking brokerage where all clients are relationship managed and where all directors are either ACII or FCII qualified. They deal with a broad spectrum of clients ranging from SME to large corporate clients and have developed an excellent market reputation.

They are chartered insurers and recently signed the Aldermanbury Declaration; therefore dedicated to the professional development of all their staff.

The role will offer a lot of variety and the successful candidate will be required to deal with everything from claims, renewals and New Business as you will be a pivotal member of the broking team. The role offers a bespoke service to their clients and you will be key in ensuring your clients wider business needs are met via risk management and market understanding.

This role is all about attitude and aspiration and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following job requirements:

Relevant experience in the general insurance sector as a proven commercial account handler is essential and a minimum of 3 years experience in dealing / broking with commercial classes of business (Combined, MNW / HNW / PI etc) and able to demonstrate strong client, supplier and negotiating skills.

You must have the ability to work solo and in a team with a confident and positive work ethic, coupled with a desire to carve out a professional career in general insurance.
