We are seeking an insurance professional, proficient in marine and goods in transit claims to work for an international insurance organisation with an excellent reputation. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling complex, contentious and high value claims as well as managing a team of Claims Handlers / Technicians from both an operational and technical perspective. This will involve acting as a point of referral, training, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met, liaising with senior management and clients as well as maintaining best practice. Applicants should have a strong track record with marine / GIT losses and have supervised teams previously. It would be advantageous to be ACII qualified or at least part qualified - this isn't essential however, as professional development will be supported.
