A prestigious Chartered Accountancy practice based in Dorset is seeking to recruit an experienced financial planner to their wealth management team to help grow the division further.

The position will entail developing a HNW (£500,000 of investable assets and above) client base through building relationships with the firm’s accountancy partners, as well as developing the brand throughout the region through both networking and furthering the links they have with a number of solicitor practices in the South West. Whilst only a minor part of the role, there is also an expectation that the successful candidate will spend some time supervising a number of more junior consultants.

It is a pre-requisite that applicants have an excellent track record of providing holistic financial planning services to HNW individuals on an independent basis. It is also vital that candidates have extensive experience in working with accountants and solicitors and are able to demonstrate the success they have had in this arena. Whilst client support is provided it is anticipated that applicants will have some form of client base or introducer network to work from whilst the relationship with the partners is developed.

This is a senior position and the package on offer reflects this. The company are open-minded as to what they would have to pay as it very much depends on the individual and the client base they are able to bring. The firm also expect that the right individual would eventually work towards director status.
