The established financial planning arm of a large, regional chartered accountancy practice, our client has a long-standing reputation in the North West. They are currently seeking to recruit an experienced paraplanner to their existing team based at the firm’s head office.

Supporting a number of fee earners, this position will be very hands on, as the company wish to provide a structure whereby their advisers can focus on developing business, rather than completing paperwork. This means that the successful applicant will need to be a highly proficient report writer with strong technical skills, to be considered. An ability to work to deadline is also a main priority.

Advice at the firm is given to either SMEs or HNW individuals, so an understanding of the range of services and products offered to such a client base is a pre-requisite. This will include retirement planning, investments, tax mitigation, group pensions and corporate protection. It is expected that candidates will be at Diploma level, although those individuals who are close to securing this designation will also be considered.

Salary is dependent on the skills the job holder can bring to the role, alongside progression with exams, current package etc.
