Our client, a leading Insurance company based in the heart of Manchester is seeking a Personal Injury Claims Team Leader. The primary focuses of the role is to lead, motivate and manage a team of RTA Personal Injury claims handlers and ensure both individual and team objectives are achieved. As well as overseeing the day to day management and development of team members you will also be responsible for monitoring targets and analysing MI, continually reviewing existing systems/processes as well as the opportunity to be involved in project work. You will have a strong working knowledge of Personal Injury (essential). The position requires a flexible approach, leadership and supervisory skills along with the ability to work in and create a cohesive team environment. Candidates must have effective communication and people management skills, along with relevant technical knowledge in the field of personal injury, including a good understanding of the Road Traffic Act and case law. Candidates must be a strong operational team leader focused on people development, delivery of service and KPIs, control of claims costs and operational expenses and focus on compliance.
