The Claims Management Team Leader will lead a customer focused team dedicated to delivering and maintaining the highest standard of customer care to all customers both internal and external.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling day to day issues and identifying ways to improve systems and processes so as to deliver high levels of service whilst achieving business targets, KPI’s and SLA’s. You will successfully manage a team of approximately 6-10 Claims Technicians by optimising the use of resources and ensuring that performance objectives are achieved whilst demonstrating qualities of leadership, motivation and inspiration.
Credentials
Proven experience in a Team Leader role, preferably within claims handling (Household or Commercial Property)
Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
Leadership skills to build a cohesive positive team and reinforce the organisations purpose, values and vision
Ability to provide technical assistance, training and coaching to improve the skill set of the unit
Excellent organisational and negotiation skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver results to deadlines
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with team members and customers
Ideally have/or be progressing towards Dip CII
