My client is a leading European Insurer with an excellent reputation for providing a first class service to brokers, a flexible approach to writing quality business and a wide range of insurance products.

Due to growth and expansion they now have a vacancy for a New Business Commercial Underwriter in their Manchester Underwriting Centre.

You will be responsible for underwriting and developing profitable commercial business through heir network of key brokers. Your day to day function will see you negotiating price, risk management of prospective business, applying terms and conditions and visiting brokers to build relationships.

You will need to have a minimum of 3 years commercial underwriting experience in commercial combined and SME Package classes, preferably with new business experience and a proven track record in achieving new business targets.
