CLAIMS HANDLER

Location: Derbyshire
Salary: £20000 to £22500 £20000 - £22500 per annum + Bonus + Benefits

The Role

The Claims Handler is responsible for a number of Fleets and any incidents or queries that the Fleet may have during the period of insurance.

Processing all claims from incident date to settlement and monitoring all subrogation claims until conclusion. This includes, assessing liability, quantum and adhering to the Service Level Agreement and Best Practice Guides.

Speaking to clients and business sources, suppliers and other connected parties in a professional and confident manner and attending any review meetings with clients and business sources either on or off site.

Provide MI reports and work to strict deadlines and help other team members achieve targets.

Managing a caseload and disputing any third party claims being made against the client and challenging third party credit hire claims and negotiating settlement.

Key contact for each Fleet client.

Duties and responsibilities

Assist team members and provide cover for team members in their absence
Attend training
Comply with company policies and procedures
Such other tasks as reasonably requested by the management
