Our client, a leading claims management claims organisation are currently seeking to recruit an Assistant Liability Claims Manager to work within their busy Liability Unit in the Cardiff office. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of Claims Handlers in conjunction with the Claims Manager, entailing performance monitoring, training and development and acting as a point of technical referrals. Additionally, you will handle you own caseload of EL, PL and motor losses until settlement, negotiating liability and quantum. Applicants must have previous experience of handling liability (casualty) claims, ideally for a minimum of three years, together with previous supervisory exposure. Progression towards a relevant qualification such as ACII would be advantageous but not essential.
