My client is an International Insurance company that is considered an employer of choice and specialising in commercial and financial lines. With a rich heritage in underwriting and providing market leading products to a wide range of trades and companies worldwide, my client now has an opening for a talented and ambitious underwriter to develop their career within their technology underwriting team.

You will be dealing with Property, Business Interruption, Liabilities and specialist covers to underwrite companies that are within IT, Telecommunications (manufacturing and servicing), IT Manufacturing and software development. These will range from small to multi - national companies and will demand bespoke cover and accurate underwriting ability. Dealing with brokers, you will be tasked with underwriting existing business and renewals and ensuring a first class service is provided.

You will need a minimum of 5 years commercial combined underwriting knowledge, have execellent communication and negotiation skills and a proven track record of underwriting and retaining quality business. You will enjoy working within a team and be confident in meeting and dealing with brokers. The preferred candidate will be ACII qualified or working towards and a degree would be an advantage to your application. Your technical skills will be developed and full product training will be ongoing to keep up with a fast paced working environment.
