My client is a well established Insurance Broker in Stockport that has built an excellent reputation on offering a professional service to industrial, commercial and personal clients throughout the UK. They have specialist teams to deal with all classes of insurance and due to continued growth and expansion they now have a vacancy in their small business team for a commercial broker.

The successful candidate will be dealing with commercial insurance for small businesses and will be dealing with Shop / Office / Package business with insurance premiums to £10,000. You will work in a proactive and busy team, dealing with new and existing business from clients, negotiating with Insurers and working alongside Account Executives.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months experience in dealing with commercial package insurance, either from a broker background or from an insurance company. You will be enthusiastic, have plenty of energy and drive and enjoy working in a team. You will be proactive, personable and be looking to develop your skills and ability to further your career from within the company. A career programme and plan will be put into place to maximise your training and future career path.

You must have a minimum of 5 GCSE's (including Maths and English), preferably grades C and above and be looking for your next move within Insurance. It is an excellent opportunity to develop your career with a leading brokerage. Will suit someone that has just entered broking or underwriting and wants a fresh and dynamic challenge.
