Salary: £24000 to £30000 £24000 - £30000 per annum + Excellent Benefits

Our Client, a progressive and expanding insurer, is seeking a Property Claims Team Leader to manage a team of handlers within their central Manchester offices. The unit handles predominantly household claims. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the team and the role will typically involve carrying out appraisals, maintaining team performance against KPI's, absence and capability management, identifying and providing solutions for team training needs as well as ensuring that internal and external compliance standards are met. You will also act as technical referral point and it is likely you will manage your own portfolio of essentially complex and/or high value cases. Previous Team Leader or Managerial experience is required as is proven experience of handling household claims, including complex and large losses.
