Our client is seeking a Senior Disease Claims Inspector / Claims Manager to handle a portfolio of complex, technical and high value disease claims, including asbestosis and mesothelioma up to an agreed handling authority. This will typically entail liaising with solicitors, medical experts and other parties in order to determine the extent of liability, if any, and to negotiate an equitable settlement. The successful candidate will have previous experience of handling complex asbestosis / mesothelioma claims on a non-scheme basis and ideally be legally qualified / ACII qualified or at least have some progression towards either designation.
