Our client, a leading legal practice, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to be pivotal in the further development of a newly created department specifically relating to providing legal advice services to insurance companies and their customers covering the full scope of legal issues ranging from personal injury, employment law to consumer disputes and financial services.

The role will be centrally operated from their Manchester office with home based working opportunities and dealing with clients across the UK. You will be dealing with Insurance companies in developing Affinity schemes based around their legal advice / service that is provided to the customers of the Insurance companies - including Home Legal Expenses and a Legal helpline assisting domestic, SME and Commercial customers.

Our client is seeking a dynamic, innovative and professional Business Development Manager from an Insurer background / Insurance company with a proven track record, ideally, in developing and managing Affinity / Commercial Schemes agreements and understanding taking a product to market successfully. You must know the Insurance marketplace exceptionally well and be able to utilise your experience in developing new business relationships.

The ideal candidate will also be flexible, well organised with innovative and entrepreneurial skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. This is a new and successful team and you will need a real 'spark' and desire to be part of something that is growing at a fast pace in a niche area.

Apart from Development skills, the role will also consist of the ongoing relationship management requirements and providing support for your clients.
