My client is a leading International insurance company with one of the very best reputations in the marketplace.
They deal with the full range of commercial classes of business and have won many national awards for their underwriting services and service to brokers and clients.
They now have a new role for an Assistant Underwriter which will focus on providing technical support for their Underwriting department with a high emphasis on relationship building across the underwriting department and with brokers.
You will be responsible for working with New and Existing Business Underwriters and ensuring that all risk reports are completed, reviewing loss control data and monitoring survey requirements. You will also review all policies for contract certainty and review accounts with Underwriters. You will be responsible for reviewing all quotes for suitability of cover.

To be considered you must have the following requirements:
3 to 4 years relevant experience in an Insurance Environment, preferably in commercial insurance as an Underwriting Assistant.
Knowledge of Commercial Insurance policies
Strong Written, organisational and communication skills
Must have A-C passes in Maths and English at GCSE and A levels.
