Our client is a national Loss Adjusting practice seeking to bolster their already strong team with the addition of a Domestic Adjuster covering South London/Kent and surrounding areas as required. The role will be home-based and the successful candidate will typically attend site, check policy liability, assess the loss/damage, instruct suppliers and contractors and report back to insurers. You will need a background in domestic claims of at least two years and prior external experience would be preferred. Progression towards a professional qualification, such as ACII would be ideal. Excellent communication skills, technical awareness and analytical skills are paramount for this role. This is an excellent opportunity for a Claims Handler to make the transition to an Adjuster or alternatively would suit somebody in a similar role, looking for a change.
