Our client is seeking to add a General Adjuster to their team, to cover the North West, as required. Working from their Manchester office, the successful candidate will be handling a mixed portfolio of domestic and commercial property claims, with some business interruption losses, on a cradle to grave basis. This will typically entail, attending site, checking policy liability, assessing the loss, instructing contractors/suppliers, liaising with Insurers, Brokers and other third parties in order to reach an equitable settlement. A relevant professional qualification, such as ACII/ACILA is preferred but not essential. Several years previous of handling property losses in an external capacity is crucial. The role is flexible and can accommodate partial home working though full office support will be provided. Further professional development will be supported and career advancement will be catered for.
